The 2017 Active Boot Camp brought together Rutgers faculty to discuss and engage with all things active learning. This second annual event, hosted in the new active learning spaces of the Rutgers Academic Building, gave guests a chance to attend talks, participate in workshops, and network with one another to advance their use of active learning. Registration is now open for the 2017 Active Learning Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is your chance to explore active learning at Rutgers and beyond. There will be workshops relating to course design, an introduction to active learning spaces and technology, faculty panels, and tables providing information on resources that can aid your use of active learning. Between the Digital Classroom Services technology workshops and the regular meetings of the Active Learning Community, there are several opportunities to develop your teaching in the spring. Throughout the semester, DCS is offering workshops on Poll Everywhere, the use of media in classroom presentations, and how-to sessions focusing on DCS classroom systems and using Mac computers.
