Registration is now open for the Digital Classroom Services 2017 Showcase, on May 3rd from 9:30-11:00am. Our Instructional Technology team uses this annual event as an opportunity to show off the latest and greatest in classroom technology. We highlight tools that can enhance your teaching that are available for you to use at Rutgers-New Brunswick. This year, we will provide updates on last year's pilot technologies - including the CatchBox throwable microphone, Kaltura lecture capture, and Solstice wireless display sharing - and demonstrate our newest learning spaces, the Synchronous Lecture Halls. These immersive rooms, Loree Hall 024 on Cook/Douglass and Wright Labs Auditorium on Busch, are connected via camera and audio feeds that enable an instructor in one room to teach students in both spaces, reducing the need for bussing. Join us in either room to experience what it is like to teach and learn in these new rooms.
