The Active Learning Community is now accepting presentation proposals for this May's Rutgers Active Learning Symposium. In addition to a keynote presentation from a visiting national leader in active learning, this all-day event held during the week of May 20th will highlight presentations from members of the Rutgers and larger high education communities sharing their research, experiences, and use of active learning. As the way that students learn evolves, so must the modern classroom. This semester, Rutgers-New Brunswick has made giant strides toward this goal with the introduction of four brand-new, state-of-the-art Active Learning Classrooms (ALCs). The ALCs are designed to facilitate interaction, collaboration, and other approaches to learning through which students can work with ideas and one another.
