Spring Active Learning Workshops on Tap

This semester, the Active Learning Community is offering up three monthly workshops designed to help attendees explores various aspects of teaching and learning. Corey Ptak, from the Learning Centers, will help you development formative assessment for use in the classroom. Mary Emenike & David Goldman, from the School of Arts & Sciences, will explore various ways of overcoming some of the challenges of traditional learning spaces when employing active learning techniques. Finally, Dena Novak, of Teaching & Learning with Technology, invites guests to learning about Universal Design for Learning, a framework for creating flexible classes that support and accommodate a diversity of students.
