Find a Collaborative Room

If your students work in groups or on projects that require work space or movement, finding the right classroom can be essential to your teaching. While some traditional classrooms have tablet arm chairs or fixed furniture that create obstacles to active learning, other general-purpose classrooms are more amenable to such classes.  Active Learning Classrooms and Interactive Lecture Halls are tailor-made for this type of learning and can be requested using a Course Information Form.  However, you may need a space in a different location or of a different size. To help faculty find other rooms that can provide them the flexibility they need to have students work individually or in groups, we have created a new list of spaces that have tables, moveable seating, ample blackboard space, or other features that can aid student learning.  Browse them now on the Active Learning Spaces page.
