Stephen Chew, a nationally acclaimed expert on teaching and learning, will be the keynote speaker at this spring's Rutgers Active Learning Symposium, to be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. This summer's Active Learning 101 session is set for August 28th on Busch Campus. In addition to being required for faculty using our Active Learning Classrooms for the first time, AL 101 is a great opportunity to gain a grounding in the fundamentals of this exciting approach to teaching. The half-day workshop includes a review of active learning pedagogy, guidance on creating activities, demonstrations of helpful classroom technology, and a conversation with instructors who have been using active learning in their classes.
