RALS Registration is Open

Join us for a day of presentations, workshops, panels, and more sessions related to active learning. The Rutgers Active Learning Symposium (RALS) serves as the Active Learning Community's once-a-year opportunity to come together with one another and guests to share teaching principles and practices in this exciting area. This years RALS will be on Thursday May 18th at Richard Weeks Hall of Engineering. The Symposium will feature a presentation and workshop from Dr. Andrew C. Butler. Dr. Butler, of Washington University in St. Louis, is the chair and an associate professor in the Department of Education as well as an associate professor in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences. He will lead two keynote sessions: "Creating Learning Environments that Support Student Motivation" and "Providing Feedback on Assignments and Assessments: Type, Timing, and Other Considerations."

You can learn more about Dr. Butler and other RALS presenters on the 2023 RALS home page. Visit the registration page to sign up. Registration is free, include a light breakfast and lunch, and is open to faculty and staff at all institutes of learning.
