DCP Faculty Feedback Lunch

Digital Classroom PodiumOn April 4th at noon, we welcome faculty to join us for lunch in the DCS Training Center - Tillett Hall Room 118 - to provide feedback from their use of the Digital Classroom Podium. The Digital Classroom Podium has evolved from a pilot program in to DCS's new, standard classroom system. After we first introduced the Digital Classroom Podium in twenty-six rooms, we worked closely with faculty teaching in those rooms to learn about the podium's shortcomings and determine whether these podiums would be positive additions to other rooms. As they are now installed in more than one third of DCS classrooms, we have continued to solicit feedback from instructors so that we can continually improve the podium and make future podiums an even better teaching tool for faculty. So far, we have largely done this through in-class observation and online surveys. In our first Faculty Feedback Lunch, we are inviting instructors to meet with DCS staff in person to share some of their thoughts about the DCP. DCS staff who design and build the podiums will be in attendance to learn about how the podiums are being used in the classroom. Faculty are invited to make suggestions about improvements for new designs and let us know what technology they would like to see in the future to improve their teaching experience. DCS will also share some of the designs we are working on and ask for faculty's feedback.

As lunch will be provided, please register so we can ensure that we can accommodate everyone who wishes to attend.
