On May 14th, faculty and staff from across Rutgers gathered in Richard Weeks Hall for the 7th Rutgers Active Learning Symposium. Through workshops, presentations, and panel sessions - participants shared their experience utilizing, studying, and supporting various exciting teaching methods. Keynote guest Cate Denial shared insights from her forthcoming book "A Pedagogy of Kindness." Perhaps most importantly, attendees took a break from the typical grind to reflect, absorb, and discuss active learning.
