Jonathan Niemira

Jonathan earned a B.A. in Recording Arts from Middlesex University, through the School of Audio Engineering, in Byron Bay, Australia. He started his own live event production company in 1999 and continues to provide audio engineering services throughout the tri-state area. He has served as an audio-visual technician for Bristol-Myers Squibb and Horizon BCBS of NJ, specializing in audio and video teleconferencing. Before joining the DCS team at Rutgers, he spent fourteen years as a vocational high school teacher, instructing students in the field of music technologies and live entertainment production. Jonathan’s main responsibilities at DCS include assisting in the design, build, and installation of classroom systems.
