Meet the Team

DCS is organized around two areas of focus. Faculty Training and Outreach staff engage with instructors to provide support, training, and development and Technical Services and Operations designs, builds, installs, and repairs classroom technology.

Patrick works with the faculty on Cook/Douglass, providing onsite training, support, and troubleshooting.

Dan oversees DCS’s central support operations, including the Help Desk and Support Specialist training, hiring, and development.

Matt provides network, server, and desktop systems administration for the hardware and technologies provided in DCS supported classrooms.

Instructional Technology Supervisor

Wilson oversees quality control, user support, and pedagogical outreach for faculty on Busch campus.

Help Desk Supervisor

Michael helps run the Help Desk and works with the DCS Support Specialists, training them, overseeing their performance, and dispatching them to address on-campus challenges.

Christine focuses on the Technical Services and Operations inventory, project management, technical support, system building and equipment repair.

Dan troubleshoots, repairs, and builds classroom technology while also providing support for high-profile and complex events.

As DCS’s Application Developer, Jake created and manages the software that faculty use to control classroom equipment as well as the Dashboard the department relies on to monitor and manage our learning spaces.

Dan oversees the Help Desk and is responsible for ensuring that all faculty requests are adequately addressed by the DCS staff. Dan also oversees many of DCS’s administrative responsibilities.

Dave’s division is responsible for supporting the daily use of in-class equipment, teach faculty how to use classroom technology, and shaping DCS technology to meet the pedagogic needs of the Rutgers community.
