Active Learning Symposium Proposal Form

Join us on May 15, 2018 for a day-long gathering focused on active learning in higher education. The day will provide insight into the effective use of active learning, the forms it can take, and other lessons from research and practice. We are seeking involvement from the Rutgers community and beyond to highlight the exciting advances being made on college campuses and to help connect faculty with the people and ideas that can lead to a true transformation in education. The Symposium will be held in the Rutgers Academic Building on the College Avenue campus in New Brunswick.

Symposium Tracks

The Symposium will be organized along four tracks. Research Topics will explore case studies, papers, and other analysis of active learning. The Practitioner Track will feature faculty, instructional designers, and others sharing their experience with active learning, including challenges faced and lessons learned.  The Technology Track will tackle novel uses of technology to advance active learning. Special Topics includes other interesting areas related to active learning that may not neatly fit into the other tracks.
