Jacob first joined Digital Classroom Services in 2014 as a student Support Specialist.  Following his graduation from the School of Communications' Information Technology and Informatics program, he was the Multimedia Specialist for the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. In this role he managed the department's audio/visual-related information technology, planned new installations and budgets, and oversaw work study employees. Jacob returned to DCS in May of 2019. In his role as Special Projects Manager he has three areas of focus. As a part of the Technical Services & Operations team, he works with staff Engineers to design, build, install, and repair classroom technology - focusing on the learning spaces belonging to the Office of the Chancellor. Jacob also provides expert-level support and repair work to the New Brunswick campuses in the evening. Finally, he serves as the DCS point-person for high-level events.
