Rutgers-New Brunswick's Immersive Synchronous Lecture Halls (ISLH) have just begun their third year of use. In that time, thousands of students have been able to attend a class taught on another campus without boarding a bus. That is because the ISLHs use state-of-the-art cameras, audio equipment, and space design to create the experience of being in one room, even if half of the students and the instructor is miles away. In our new video profile, created by the Division of Continuing Studies, you can hear from instructors and students who have used the space and get a sense of what it is like to learn in these cutting edge classrooms. For even more information about these rooms, visit our ISLH page.
