DCS continues to make progress on its goal of upgrading all its classrooms with Digital Classroom Podiums. For the fall semester, thirty-two classrooms will be equipped with the latest version of our new, standard classroom presentation portal. All of Hardenbergh Hall was upgraded, introducing our first DCPs to the River Dorms. Seven rooms in Murray Hall were upgraded, bringing us closer to upgrading every classroom in this building. We also replaced old podiums in Allison Road Classrooms 108 and 110, as well as the entire second floor of Beck Hall.
These rooms received DCP 2.0s, our latest regular-size version of the DCP, which includes several improvements based on faculty feedback. Meanwhile, the Hill Center auditoriums were upgraded with DCP A1.1s, our updated auditorium-version of the podium. Following these two upgrades, all of DCS's Hill Center rooms have been upgraded. For more information about the Digital Classroom Podium, visit our DCP page. To read about the new features available on the 2.0, read our Spotlight article.
