Two well-received sessions from last May's Active Learning Symposium has been added to this fall's workshop schedule. Active Learning Approaches to STEM Writing Intensive Courses, lead by the Learning Center's Corey Ptak, will outline a data-driven approach to teaching writing for STEM courses. Próspero García of Rutgers-Camden will revisit Conscious Conceptual Manipulation for Active Learning in the Classroom and explain a cognitive- based model to teaching with practical applications for all disciplines.
