DCS is introducing a new semester loan policy for the Fall 2014 semester. We continue to offer a variety of portable equipment for use by instructors in DCS classrooms that do not have these items permanently installed. To better ensure that we can track and retrieve these items, we are requiring that faculty pick up and return loaner equipment to our offices. To best accommodate instructors teaching on different campuses, equipment may be picked up from DCS offices on College Ave, Cook/Douglass, Busch, and Livingston. This gives our staff time to test the items, properly track what items are given out, and demonstrate how the equipment can be used.
Loaner equipment - including wireless presenters, webcams, HDMI converters, and projectors - is available for instructors who need the use of portable equipment for more than four course meetings. Deliveries may be requested for up to four class meetings a semester. To request a delivery or loan and to view the full list of equipment available, please visit our Equipment Request form. If you select "loan," you will then be prompted to select a pick up and return office. Once you select an office, you will be given a list of available time ranges during which you can stop by to pick up your equipment. Time ranges are available every day of the week during the daytime on each campus. Instructors who wish to pick up equipment at night, may do so by selecting the Help Desk on Livingston Campus as a pick up option.
