Four Rooms Receive New Systems for the Fall

This summer, DCS's Technical Services and Operations team installed Digital Classroom Podiums in four general-purpose classrooms. On Cook-Douglass, Ruth Adams Building 109B and Biological Sciences 205 are now each equipped with a Digital Classroom Podium (DCP), our standard classroom system. Meanwhile, over on College Ave., two of Rutgers-NB's most heavily trafficked and visible auditoriums have also been upgraded. Scott Hall 123 and 135 now feature the auditorium version of the Digital Classroom Podium, which adds a preview monitor, larger work space, and enhanced voice amplification to the core features of a DCP.

This work was completed as the TSO team also refreshed previously installed systems by replacing aging and outdated components. Together, these upgrades and refreshes help us work towards ensuring all of our rooms are state-of-the-art and reliable.
